Background: The molecular weight of cytokeratin 10 (CK10) is 56.5 kDa, which mainly marks the basal layer and granular cell layer of epithelium. Meanwhile, the expression of K10 is in direct proportion to the degree of cell differentiation. The highly differentiated cells are often positive, which is mainly used to identity squamous cell carcinoma.
