The native mulberry is said to produce fruit so delicious you’ll be competing with the local wildlife. The fruit is small and white, nearly translucent and has edible seeds on the outside like strawberries. They are soft and juicy with a sweet, delicate flavour. 

Native mulberry can be trimmed to make an excellent edible hedge or screening plant. The trees prefer warm climates, full sun and well draining soil. Protect from frost. Currently 40cms and most of the plants are fruiting.
