Another lovely pin cushion, this one as large as an apple, or a peach--I believe it was meant to represent the former, but the gloriously radiant color of the hand-painted silk feels lush like a peach to me. I'd have a hard time puncturing this one with a stick pin, and might rather give it a special spot, perhaps in near proximity to a perfect piece or two of stone fruit. So pretty.

2 7/8" t x 2 7/8" w. Good, presumed antique (late 19th/early 20th c I believe) condition. Some thinning to the silk just along the seam line, but holding together fine.
