“The Water Jug became the first F!NK product and is still the mainstay of the company. It encapsulates the qualities of F!NK Co. that have distinguished it since it was established in 1994.

Quite simply, nothing else looks like or pours like a F!NK Water Jug. Originally commissioned in 1993 as a limited release vessel for the opening of an elegant new restaurant in Australia’s national capital, Canberra, the early prototype was refined and its manufacturing streamlined, allowing the potential of the Jug as the quintessential F!NK piece to be realised. The Jug was issued as the vanguard for Robert Foster’s then fledgling design company F!NK Co., and to this day remains its signature piece.
The Jug was F!NK's first product. It is now regarded as the flagship of the collection and has been described as an Australian design icon. The success of the Jug, can be partially attributed to the fact that it is found in the best restaurants throughout capital cities in Australia and New Zealand.

Through the investigation of an appropriate production process for the Jug, Foster has invented a unique and unconventional pressing process that allows the formation of such organic forms. Each jug requires three separate pressing stages before a bottom is welded on. Each jug is then hand abraded and sandblasted before it is anodised.
The jugs are hand polished taking approximately two hours each through a series of three polishing processes.

The FINK water jugs hold 1.45 litres of water.
