RARE VINTAGE 1950S DESIGNER DRESS | SIZE XS/S PETITE

This amazing dress is made of a high quality cool & crisp smooth cotton with a lovely whimsical floral print in vibrant pinks, greens & white. It features a fitted bodice with semi-full tulip skirt that partially overlaps in front, accentuated by a large attached bow at the side waist. The dress has a square neckline with a unique décolletage panel that's tacked on and can be removed if less coverage is desired. With the panel removed the neckline is round. The dress closes with a rear metal zipper. The label is Roban by Dorothy Litzan, New York. There aren't very many of her fantastic designs around, making this dress quite a rare find. Oddly, the label is sewn into the hem so it isn’t fully visible, however I have included a photo from another dress to show the matching labels.

Very good condition. No flaws noted.
