SL-R skirts are designed with minimal rocker extension to preserve factory jack point access. Before installation, verify the location of your vehicle's jack points and measure the skirt profile at those spots to confirm clearance with your lifting equipment.

How much ground clearance do these add or remove?

SL-R skirts follow the factory rocker line closely with minimal downward extension. They do not significantly alter your vehicle's ride height or departure angles. Measure your current ground clearance at the rocker and compare against the skirt profile if you run extremely low suspension.

Can I paint these before installation?

Yes. Since these ship in raw FRP condition, you can sand and prep the surface, then apply your chosen base coat and clear coat before bolting them on. Many builders prefer this approach for cleaner final edges. Mask off any mounting areas to keep fasteners accessible during install.
