Do I need any extra hardware to install this?

The tank mounts at factory attachment points—your existing bolts and clips reuse without modification. If yours are corroded or stripped, grab fresh hardware from your local supplier before installation.

Can I reuse my old cap and hose connections?

Yes. The cap and overflow hoses disconnect and reconnect to the new tank. Inspect hoses for cracks or hardening while you have everything apart—swap them if they look sketchy.

Should I flush the cooling system before swapping tanks?

Not required, but recommended. If your old tank failed because of contamination or rust, a flush prevents the same problem in the new one. Otherwise, drain what you can, swap the tank, and refill with fresh coolant.
