Malkoff Hyper Throw (low-med-high) Head to fit the Malkoff MDC 18650 (Surefire Duel Fuel Thread Pattern) Body.  It will fit most other bodies with the Surefire DF thread pattern. It is available in Cool (5700K) and Neutral (4000K). The head is constructed of 6061 T6 aluminum and Type III Hard Black Anodized. This design utilizes a tightly focused TIR Optic for a smooth combo beam with good throw and some spill. 

Mode of Operation:

The switch debounce time is 150 milliseconds. The mode will advance each time the light is momentarily activated and the switch debounce time has passed.

This light USES ON TIME to determine mode switching.  If the light is left ON for more than 1 second, the NEXT off/on cycle will return the light to low.  If the light is NOT LEFT ON for 1+ seconds the NEXT off/on cycle will advance the mode.  The off time has no relation to the mode switching of the light.  In most normal use, the light will always come on in low.

STAINLESS-STEEL BEZEL OPTION

The stainless-steel(SS) bezels fit this head and any MDC head that uses an optic. If purchased from this screen, the stainless-steel bezel will be installed on the head. The original black-anodized aluminum bezel will be included.

This head was designed for rugged service from the ground up. It is fully potted to stand up to rough service and recoil. This item is Covered by Our Lifetime Warranty.

The input voltage is 3.7 to 9 volts. It was designed for use with 2-3 primary 3v CR123 batteries or 1-2 Li-ion rechargeable batteries. The full output runtime on two CR123 batteries is approximately 25-30 minutes. The full output runtime on a single 18650 (3500ma cell) is approximately 1.5 hrs. It will easily illuminate objects at 500+ feet and will blind opponents within a 150 foot radius. The exact model of the LED is a trade secret.

Things to Know Before Purchase:

The input voltage is 3.7 - 9 volts. Below 3.8 volts the head will drop out of regulation and run direct drive.

This head is PROTECTED against reverse polarity.

This Head is Designed for Maximum Reach in a Small Format. If You are a White Wall Hunter, This is NOT the Head For You (it does not have a beautiful, symmetrical beam on a white wall).
