It’s the grand return of the Stringpack, nearly 10 years after the original version and a detour through the Shorty. The concept remains the same: a renowned harness, the String 3.0, combined with a backpack to create a convertible bag/harness. Like all our lightweight products, the Stringpack is easy to use, allowing you to focus on what matters most: walking and flying. Our use of Ripstop fabric with Dyneema offers a balance of lightness and durability, tested extensively over time.

CONVERTIBLE BUT NON-REVERSIBLE

The Stringpack is not a reversible harness. Both the back reinforcement and shoulder straps remain the same in both flight and walking modes. This saves weight and volume, making the entire system more user-friendly. The bag's positioning during flight is also more efficient.

GEOMETRY: LEG-STRAP ABS

The Stringpack utilizes the leg-strap geometry that NEO developed over 10 years ago with the first generation of Stringharnesses. This design offers excellent stability and precise control, and no chest strap adjustment is needed, as it naturally adapts to the pilot’s body shape. The front-opening harness allows for easy entry, even with skis or crampons on.

3D SHAPING

The 3D shaping principle in textile structure construction provides both support and comfort through the assembly of fabric pieces into a supportive form.

VOLUME: HIKE 55 L / FLY 40 L

The Stringpack has a carrying capacity of 55 liters, accommodating a wide range of paragliding wings. The volume reduces by 15 liters during flight to stabilize the load and avoid pressure on the lower back. A large front pocket allows for quick access to essential items like clothing, and top access enables easy storage of your reserve parachute and helmet.

KOROYD PROTECTION

NEO uses Koroyd technology in its protectors for ultra-light, innovative impact protection. The Koroyd tubes absorb impact forces efficiently, minimizing the energy transferred to your back.

STRING PERMAIR PROTECTION

The Stringpack includes attachment points for the String Permair protection, using PERMAIR technology developed by Skywalk, which is certified by EN, LTF, and CE standards. It weighs 410 grams and is inflated with the provided inflation bag.

DYNEEMA FABRICS

The robust materials used are based on Ripstop with Dyneema and high-tenacity polyamide, developed through a technical collaboration with IBQ. This fabric offers:

• Low elongation and no deformation
• Lightweight and durable
• Washable at 30°C and easy to maintain

BOOOMTAG: Lost, Scan, Found

The Stringpack 2.0 comes equipped with a Booomtag chip. This NFC chip contains product information and allows for easy product registration and recovery in case of loss.
