Hydrophobic induction and pore blocking treatment for concrete or ceramics

MM Sealer Siloxane is a solvent carried blend of methacryate and alkylalkoxisiloxane. Clear liquid with odour of aliphatic solvent.

Properties:

MM Sealer Siloxane charges the surface of concrete with a powerful excess of anions,
neutralising the cations at molecular level and therefore repels water on all absorptive
ceramic and cement based products.

MM Sealer Siloxane may slightly darken or introduce a low sheen to treated substrates
dependant on application rate chosen, and otherwise does not alter the colour of the
substrate.

Applications:

Wherever liquid, water or the ingress of aqueous solutions into concrete must be
prevented. MM Sealer Siloxane induces long lasting (up to 10 years) water repellancy
properties into concrete, stone or ceramic substrates (brick, tile etc). MM Sealer Siloxane resists pollution staining and repels acid waters, thus being extremely useful in
arresting carbonation of concrete and resultant reinforcing bar corrosion.

MM Sealer Siloxane prevents rain penetration into homes, offices, buildings or industrial structures such as silos where water exclusion is vital. MM Sealer Siloxane stops the normal soiling or staining of ceramic tiles on patios, in kitchens, driveways and hard-stands where easy removal of oil is desired.
