A little drawing, cut from an old scrapbook I believe, but one of my very favorites ever! I can just imagine it's maker carefully observing the courtship of Miss Brown and Mr. Nester (or Wester?) from a distance, then making this this sketch, with "Good Evening My Dear" wonderfully scrawled down one side. And what a pair, between her fabulous starry dress to his hat and bow tie and what one guesses is a handkerchief in one hand--and her standing on a dip in the ground so as not to be taller than him!

4" t x 3 5/16" w.  A couple of small stains at top right which look like watercolor or ink smears perhaps original to the paper on which it was done. Mounted to backing/scrapbook paper with an old print on reverse.
