Description
Pinguicula ‘Tina’ is a Mexican butterwort hybrid of P. agnata and P. zecheri. It is the reverse hybrid of P. ‘Gina’. Pinguicula ‘Tina’ was registered as a cultivar in 2002 and is noted for its large flowers with purple streaking around the throat. P. ‘Tina’ is an easy grower making it a good butterwort for beginners.
Growing condition
Climate: Subtropical. During winter months the leaves will change from the sticky, carnivorous leaves to succulent and narrow leaves.
Water: rain water, distilled water or RO water, tap water in some regions. Keep media constantly damp during growing seasons. Light: Bright shade, indirect light
Humidity: 60-80%
