ABOUT THE ARTIST: 

Laurie Sinert’s main creative motivation is driven by her use of color, which sets the mood for her work that channels the master of color and form, Matisse.  Rarely sketching first, Laurie likes to mix up a group of tantalizing colors that generate a modern bold emotion that inspires the shapes that ultimately gets laid on the canvas. The results are pure and reflective — emphasizing her use of organic abstracts and figurative shapes in a dramatic use of color.
