Our Jamba Clay Salicylic Mask is designed as a weekly treatment for acne or congested skin. Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid, it is effective at dissolving oil, therefore very useful for clogged pores. It is also less irritating than alpha hydroxy acids.

Salicylic acid is also excellent at sloughing away dead skin cells, so can also be useful in other skin types requiring exfoliation.

The combination of French clay and Moroccan lava clay aids in drawing out impurities from the skin. We have combined these with some well-known Ayurvedic ingredients for their antibacterial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and detoxifying qualities. 

Tulsi (Holy basil) Traditional Ayurvedic herb that has antibacterial qualities and assists acne-prone skin.

Moroccan Lava Clay (Ghassoul) Superfine powdered clay which feels silky smooth when mixed with water. It has a high mineral content, especially silica, and draws impurities from the skin. Suitable for sensitive skin as well.

Turmeric Oil A potent anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and anti-carcinogenic activity. For skin, it is excellent for acne, pigmentation, and ageing skin.

Coriander Oil Taken from the coriander seed, the oil is antioxidant, anti-fungal, and antibacterial. It is excellent for helping treat closed comedones and detoxifying the skin.
