Our 10 Inch Scalloped Brisket Knife was designed in collaboration with barbecue great, Bennie Kendrick. The Titanium coated blades are made from German X50 stainless steel for knives that are sharp, rust resistant, and easy to maintain. Solid bolsters and full tang construction give the knives great balance and heft. Avanta knives are made with beautiful triple-riveted ebony Pakkawood handles.

The 10 Inch Scalloped Slicer is the perfect brisket knife.  Designed for pull-cuts, the long rigid blade produces a straight controlled slice with minimal sawing motion. Teeth ground into the edge keep the knife from skating across the surface, while sharp valleys between the teeth slice through your food.  The offset handle design keeps your hand free of the food and the cutting board.  Also use this knife for slicing bread, sandwiches, soft skinned fruits and vegetables.

Bennie Kendrick is from the Central California coast town of Santa Maria that is famous for its unique style of barbecue - simply seasoned and cooked on a grill over open flame. Bennie’s love of cooking was inspired by early memories of barbecuing with his grandfather. • Hand-wash with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse and dry immediately.
• Do not place in dishwasher
• Avoid cleaners containing bleach or citrus extracts
