From ancient times, the Alps have held mythological, spiritual, and romantic importance. Iconic peaks like the Matterhorn are used in everyday branding, such as chocolate, and advances in engineering have made these views accessible to thousands of tourists daily. In *Don’t Look Down*, Brad Rimmer reimagines these familiar landscapes, altering them with inverted colours to create a disorienting effect, challenging collective memories. 

Rimmer, based in Fremantle, works on long-term projects in portraiture, landscape, and social documentation. His work is featured in notable collections like the National Gallery of Australia, and he is represented by Art Collective WA.
