The nose is fresh, but at the same time ripe and characterized by a strong minerality, which is joined by delicate floral scents. It offers toasted and smoky notes, spices and ripe strawberry and cherry notes. The palate has a nice style and allows light vegetal memories emerge in the final aftertaste.

The Chianti Classico Riserva is obtained from a selection of grapes harvested only from vineyards suitable for the vinification of long-aged wines. It macerated in steel, in contact with the skins for about 20 days. It sat for 18 months in small barrels and aged in the bottle for at least three months. It’s an excellent Chianti Classico, extraordinarily easy to drink and long on the finish.

It’s excellent with preparations based on red meats and game. Perfect with beef stew.
