This reissue series celebrates the 60th anniversary (as of 2013) of Delmark, Chicago's long-established blues and jazz label. This is the second Delmark album by Chicago blues and soul don Syl Johnston. The album features Charles Hodges (p/org) on a pleasant R&B tune reminiscent of his high days, a reprise of a classic from his Twinite days, and Chicago Blues tunes such as "All Night Long" by Magic Sam, whom he taught himself to play guitar on. Sill's signature style is on full display on this album. (C)RS
