Geoffrey Swindell is established in the field of ceramics for working on a small scale. All his work is thrown porcelain clay that is then turned, carved and textured before being fired several times with complex layers of glaze and lustre.

This piece is made in black porcelain clay which has been textured and glazed with luminous tones of lemon and orange finished with a red glazed lip.

Geoffs work is collected across the world and he has examples in many permanent museum collections such as the V&A and the National Museum of Wales
