It is slowly matured in traditional oak barrels and then finished for up to 6 months in Oloroso Sherry, Port, Madeira and Bourbon casks. The precise combination of wood and time results in a dark golden whiskey with a rich maltiness, soft fruity notes and lingering sweetness.
