Despite the slow burning blues of “Since I’ve Been Loving You” and the manic blues of “Celebration Day” Led Zeppelin found themselves moving away from their roots on their third album to incorporate elements of folk music into their heavy rock sound with tracks such as “Friends”, the mournful yet beautiful “Tangerine” and “That’s The Way”. Album opener “Immigrant Song” is a memorable start with Robert Plant’s Viking war cry and the pummeling rhythm section of John Paul Jones and John Bonham.
