The Bush-Whacker ST-180 Elite Flex-Wing Brush Cutter sets a new standard for heavy-duty performance in its class. With a smooth-top deck for easy cleaning, it is built to tackle the toughest mowing tasks. Featuring robust gearboxes, advanced hydraulic adjustments, and high-quality blades, the ST-180 Elite is ideal for agricultural, commercial, and large-scale applications.

Key Features

• Durable Gearboxes: Three spindle gearboxes with 250 HP capacity, base mounted at 540 or 1,000 RPM. Divider gearbox with 275 HP capacity for reliable power distribution. Constructed with malleable housings, forged alloy steel gears, and carburized shafts for durability.
• Heavy-Duty Drive Shafts: Shielded PTOs crafted from premium propeller shaft materials with needle-bearing universal joints. Includes Category 6 80-degree constant velocity main drive shaft and Category 5 intermediate/wing drive shafts.
• Slip Clutch: Three clutches with spring-type adjustment and two friction discs, ensuring smooth operation.
• Advanced Blades: 1/2" x 4" alloy spring steel blades with airlift design. 8-inch blade overlap and blade tip speed of 16,768 FPM for superior cutting performance.
• Hydraulic Wing Adjustments: Hydraulic lift cylinders allow flexible wings to raise up to 88° above and lower to 22° below the cutting plane.
• Sturdy Deck Construction: 3/16" primary deck and 12-gauge smooth top deck welded to heavy-duty channel structures for added durability. Combined deck thickness of 0.2921".
• Heavy-Duty Tires: Six solid rubber tires with independent shock-absorbing systems. Optional: 25" treaded laminate, used aircraft tires, or foam-filled aircraft tires.
• Safety and Maintenance Features: Replaceable center and full-length wing skid shoes for longer durability. Transport locking bars for secure wing storage during transport. Chain guards (front and rear) for debris management.
