Keith Richards & The X-Pensive Winos
Description:
Keith Richards, the eternal rock 'n' roller. He still stands on stage with Mick Jagger as the front man of the Rolling Stones. Keith Richards released his first solo album "Talk Is Cheap" in 1988, 25 years after he started his career as a member (professional musician) of the Rolling Stones in 1963. The album gained tremendous support from Rolling Stones fans as well as his followers, and reached No. 26 on the U.S. album chart and was awarded a gold disc. Four years later, in 1992, Keith Richards released his second solo album, "Main Offender," and successfully completed the "Main Offender Tour," which took him to Europe, England, and North America for 37 shows in three months, compared to his previous tour of 17 stops in the United States. The tour was a success. During the tour, a special TV program was planned to promote the new album, and Keith Richards performed live in the studio. The studio show will be broadcast in the U.S. on December 28 during prime time on Chicago's WTTW television station, the largest public broadcasting network in the U.S. (PBS). The live show will be remastered and released in its best sound quality yet, thanks to the discovery of the audio masters recorded during the broadcast. Keith Richards was backed by The Expensive Wynos, a group of seven of his most trusted session musicians. The setlist for the day consisted of 14 songs from his two solo albums and Rolling Stones material, and this live album contains the complete set in its entirety. This live album is a tear-jerker for fans of Keith Richards' rock 'n' roll music, which is wild and groovy, and has not been overdubbed or otherwise processed. The first half of the rehearsal at the same studio on December 27, the day before the show, is included as a bonus track. Imported domestic version (with obi and bilingual English booklet)
