Jesper Tylo, one of the most prominent figures in Danish jazz since the 1960s, is back with his first new recording in almost 10 years for Stunt Records! Jesper Tillo, who has had a long career playing with international greats such as Webster, Hawkins, Benny Carter, Roy Eldridge, "Sweets", Clark Terry, and Dizzy, and whose powerful swing style has ushered in a new era, has been joined by Dizzy Gillespie, George Gershwin, Oscar Pettit, and many others. Gershwin, Oscar Pettiford, Vernon Duke, John Cranor, Earl Hines, and others. The quartet is a delightful one-horn quartet, with a dense tenor that dances on a light-hearted Scandinavian rhythm section including Seán Christiansen, Daniel Frank, and France Liffeyer.
