Description:
Four composers, led by Yudai Bando, the most popular contemporary classical composer of the moment, who composed the music for the NHK Saturday drama "17 Sai no Teikoku" starting in May 2010, as well as for the movie "The Dragon and the Freckled Princess," which won the Best Music Award at the Japan Academy Prize, have been working on the music for the drama. The four composers are gathered together. The four composers are Tomggg, a beat maker with a strong presence in the electronic music scene in Japan and abroad; Ryo Maekubo, a graduate of the University of the Arts' composition department who specializes in acoustic composition; and Shohei Amimori, who is in charge of music for the film "Hyakka" scheduled for release this fall and has written and arranged music for many artists, including Taeko Onuki. He has also composed and arranged music for many artists, including Taeko Onuki. Each of them is in charge of a different scene, creating the sound world of the drama's sci-fi entertainment with synth-centered music. (C)RS
