The DLC coated espresso burrs have a geometry intended to excel at producing espresso. This style of burr tends to work better for medium to dark roasted coffees, but we also find they work fantastic for lighter roasts as well. These burrs are designed to produce a high uniformity coffee ground, allowing the espresso extraction to have high body (viscosity) while also producing a balanced amount of clarity.
While these burrs are marketed as "espresso" burrs, they also produce a quality pour over extraction.
They are designed for the Turin DF83 Turin DF83V, Mazzer Major, and many other 83mm "Mazzer" hole pattern grinders.
