A rare Regency yew wood sofa table with mahogany cross banding raised on reeded legs terminating with original brass castors. The hinged top of this antique and unusual sofa table opens to reveal an interior which is divided into compartments. The interior has retained its original green lining paper. The top is secured with a working lock and key. This antique sofa table is in excellent condition, it has not been repolished, the colour and patina are wonderful. An outstanding example of English Regency furniture, a versatile piece to place in any interior.
