The group's debut album, "People's Instinctive Travels and the Path of Rhythm," released in 1990, received a perfect score from "The Source," the most authoritative magazine in the Hip Hop scene, and the group's music, which is mainly jazz but also includes soul, funk, and rock, is diverse and free of the machoism of Hip Hop of the 1980s, such as "gold" and "guns," and is characterized by a strong sense of melodicism.
