The LockitSlate Take 2 (ACN-LS2) is a highly accurate smart-slate system featuring a unique product design and functionality. It is the successor to the LockitSlate and fully compatible. Its construction and dimensions are the same so that accessories or custom made faceplates can seamlessly be used on the new product. The easy removable handle allows for perfect one-handed operation. It has improved resistance against humidity through lip sealing around LED display and 3 button design. It features the same simple operation via 3 buttons as with the Lockit and NanoLockit.

Powering is over 4x AA cells, optimized for rechargeable NiMH chemistry. This allows for a run time of over 24 hours with the slate open at default brightness. External powering is possible over USB-C. With the mixed adaptive LED brightness mode you can manually set the desired brightness and the display will dynamically adapt to changing light situations.

The LockitSlate offers a variable timecode offset to compensate for processing delays of digital cameras. Plugged in into a computer, the LockitSlate transforms into a highly accurate midi timecode interface with LTC / midi timecode conversion and of course big TC LED display. This way the ACN-LS2 opens up the possibility to sync multiple cameras with a Pro Tools workstation.

With its revolutionary modular construction, the electronic section of the Lockit Slate can also serve as a fully functional, compact standalone display for documentary or desktop use. Housed in a machined, pearl-blasted and anodized aluminum body, it can easily withstand the roughest production conditions.

The LockitScript app elegantly accommodates all the daily needs within the demanding role of a Script Supervisor. This comprehensive and time-saving tool helps fighting paperwork, duplicate listing and overtime after wrap.

The LockitSlate Take 2 can be ordered or retro-fitted with clap sticks handmade out of Oak Wood. Customized, or blanco slate boards are available on request. CAD prints of the slate board are available to allow for personal constructions.
